Version 0.3.4 Changes
Below are my compiled notes on the progress made so far on this project. They include browser compatibility issues, bug fixes, project direction changes, as well as content and design changes.
Overhall of the website visuals
- Added more color to layout tables
- Added a background image (the Bliss wallpaper from Windows XP, if you were wondering)
- Refactored the page designs across the site
- Created change_logs.html (/whats_new/change_logs.html) with links to individual change logs
- Added new GIFs to the side pane
- More standardized “Made with Macintosh” GIF
- "Built with table layout" GIF to reflect the new design
- "Microsoft FrontPage 2000" GIF since I've been doing some editing using the HTML interface in that program on both Windows 11, and Windows XP.
- Added a new tagline under “The Retro Millennial” on the home page
- Added marquee tag to scroll the text across the screen
- On Netscape 4.x, the marquee scroll is replaced by blinking text
- Added a fake banner ad to the home page; planning to do more with this in the future
